according to pinterest...

according to Pinterest, I should have...

a giant kitchen.
a huge freezer for storing months worth of pre-made meals.
my Christmas cards figured out.
access to ready made products by Pillsbury. (i.e. cookie dough, crescent rolls, cinnamon rolls, etc.)
a killer wardrobe.
boots for every outfit.
secondhand furniture.
the perfect color scheme for every room.
more than one room.
about three gallons of paint on hand.
lots of spray paint sitting around.
a craft room.
Halloween costumes planned out for the next ten years.
a specific drawer and cupboard for everything in my kitchen.
peanut butter cups.
a giant porch.
peanut butter.
a laundry room.
hall closets.
enough space for a reading nook.
a stairway.
patience.
a mailbox.
a curling iron, sewing machine, microwave, KitchenAid, and crock pot.
fifteen million kinds of paper and a cricut.  (how do you pronounce that???)
a mantle for decorating.
bookshelves.
to still plan trips to Paris, Amsterdam, Munich, Prague, Milan, and the Swiss Alps.

according to Europe, I have...

a giant closet.  (I actually have one..not standard issue in this part of the world!)
a standard sized freezer.
been blessed enough to have a washer/dryer combo.
more than enough craft supplies.
nice clothes.
weird boots.  (they're cowboy boots...I love them.)
no need for Halloween costumes.
plenty of room for shelves and storage bins to serve as closets.
the same kind of stairway as everyone else in my building.

according to me, I have...

a really great little apartment.
a bed to sleep in at night.
a storage unit full of electronic items I'll be able to use if I ever move back to the States.
one hell of a beautiful kitchen!
a bigger closet than I've ever been accustomed to.
one bookshelf.
enough paper to suffice me.
a darling little Christmas tree.
a fridge and freezer that hold enough food for two.
already been to Paris, Amsterdam, Munich, Prague, Milan, and the Swiss Alps.
a shower with hot water.
clothes enough to spare.
an island in my kitchen big enough for any project I need to do.
a stove that reheats and an oven that bakes.
friends willing to share new recipes as I learn how to cook.
a great desire for secondhand furniture and a deep appreciation for IKEA's as-is section.
books and rugs to spare on a boat somewhere in the middle of the sea.
access to my mail.
windows the width of my apartment with the most spectacular views.
the chance of a lifetime.
