This, my friends, is what happens when you try to look cute and have your husband document it in the middle of summer in Cyprus. You squint, get disoriented, kind of want to cry because the sun is so strong, and then run inside the house as fast as you can to cool down. This is our first summer here and let me tell you, I'm scared. I really, really, REALLY don't do hot. This week it's been flirting with the 100 degree (farenheit) mark a lot. And our Cypriot cohorts are telling us that this is nothing yet. Let me put it this way, nobody has turned on their air conditioners indoors yet because it's not hot enough. Since when is 100 degrees not hot enough for the AC?!!? What kind of strange, hot world have I stepped into?
sweetlemonade. not hot enough?! what world have you stepped into?!?!?! if it's any consolation - you're still adorable!
ReplyDeleteit's a strange new world, that's for sure! that said, indoors it really isn't so bad, so long as you block out all the sun (:

Stopping by from Pleated Poppy. You still look super cute! Heat and all! ;) I'm now following!
ReplyDeleteLove your style. I can't pop a color or wear pearls without thinking of you.
ReplyDeletehaha aw! it's pretty hot in georgia, but not THAT hot. i can totally relate to the squinty eyed pictures though!
ReplyDeletethis is my second summer in cyprus and i have to be honest the first was pretty bad, even for me who is a sun lover! but your body adjusts and this year i am still managing to actually put on jeans and venture outside in them which as you know in the cypriot sunshine is an achievement! Although the humidity in nicosia these past few days has had my running for the air con! :)
