rifling

This weekend, the boys went fishing and Dr. Mom and I got to go into Orlando (yes, we're in Florida) for a girls' day.  We spent most of the day in the community of Winter Park, a darling community that has totally revamped all of my prior ill-humored opinions of Florida.  This town was abuzz with excitement from a weekly street market, a children's fair, and some really wonderful local shops.  The major draw for me was the Rifle Paper Co. headquarters.

You may or may not know this, but I am one legendary paper snob.  It's true.  I'm so bad that my mom designed our wedding invitations and we special ordered the paper straight from the vendor.  Our invitations were absolutely exquisite.  Well, somehow or another, I stumbled on Rifle's products a few years ago and have been hooked ever since.  Their designs are so bright and happy and the quality of the product just can't be beat.  I had family members mail me some of their cards to Cyprus because I just loved them so much.  So when Dr. Mom and I decided we were wandering towards Winter Park, a stop at Rifle was a no brainer.

I highly recommend a stop in this town if you're ever in the area and definitely suggest a pop into Rifle.  It is absolutely darling.  Airy, uncluttered, tiny, and perfect.  Plus, they have a "remnants" bin with some of their cards on sale for $2, such a steal!  And since we discovered one of the coolest art supply shops ever not ten minutes away, I think a few more trips into Winter Park might be in order sometime soon.
