weekend that was: girls just wanna have fun

I spent this past weekend with these ladies.  And by weekend, I mean Friday through Monday.  Lots and lots and lots of playing.  And shopping.  They bring out my girly side and I really like it.

We spent two days at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and I am not ashamed of it.  Oh. My. GOSH do I love Nordstrom!!  We were able to get me set up for The Stud's wedding, Dr. Mom retoweled the house, Sister got some beautiful boots, and we ate lots of salad at the Nordstrom Cafe.  Have you ever eaten there? No? Well, you should.  No, seriously. 

The real treat was just getting to spend so much time with these ladies.  The days flew by as we shopped, planned, decorated for birthdays, lunched, and laughed.  I love getting to know them even more and feeling day by day that we really are just family, not in-laws.  We joked incessantly, gabbed constantly, and just had the time of our lives.
