I have something to admit. I really, really dislike amusement parks. Like, really. I could give you all sorts of reasons for this but in all honesty, I just think they're icky. And crowded. And just too much for this little introvert to handle. Well, since we've been married, Mr. F has been trying to convince me that we need to go to Epcot. I wasn't buying any of it. Until Mr. F lost his job, we moved back to Florida, and he looked at me with sad, puppy eyes. I caved.
And I am so glad I did.

Mr. F was right when he told me I would like Epcot. It's Disney, so it's fully of all the whimsy and mystery of childhood, but created for an adult audience. I loved wandering the vignettes of different countries. It brought our expat experience back and reminded me that I still have so many places yet to see. Most of the day I was in a DayQuil induced blur as I tried to fight off a cold. This was definitely the park to visit in such a state. I could wander leisurely and soak everything in. Every so often, we'd stumble on a film about a country and I could sit for awhile. Learning and recouping at the same time? Done!
The food was delicious, the grounds, exquisite, and the company..better than anything.
