1. The sun is out!!!! We've had London like weather all week. Fog, drizzly, damp rain. No sun. No light. Just damp, cold, dreariness. This morning, however, I woke up to sun! Glorious, cloudless sky, beams of light permeating my dirty windows sun! I love me cold weather, but vitamin D, that's where it's at.
2. Mr. F was reading off Oscar nominations to me last night while I was making dinner. We agreed with some of them, had no clue what most of them were, and generally didn't care too much. The one thing we were certain of was that we needed to watch Boyhood. So Mr. F tracked it down and we watched it last night. Three hours later, our minds were totally blown! Do you know anything about this movie? It was filmed over the span of 12 years, so you literally get to see these kids grow up. It's fascinating! On top of that, the film is just brilliant. A steady compilation of everyday moments that make life what it is. Go see it. Seriously!
3. Valentines are in the shop! We all know I'm horrible at marketing myself, but let me tell you, the valentines are darling.
4. There's a giveaway happening now on instagram and facebook. Share photos of see what i sea designs products at work in your life using the hashtag #seewhatisea2015. Don't have any see what i sea artwork or stationery? Head over to etsy shop and share pieces you would like! Winners will be chosen next week and will receive an 8x10 art print of their choice.
5. Calendars are still available! I totally sold out this year and had to reprint. Thank you to everyone who ordered! If you are still interested, you can find them on etsy or in Southern Stationery's SouthernDipity e-boutique. Stay tuned for more collaborations with Southern Stationery!
6. I've been on a total rhyming spree this week, making everything in my life sound like a Dr. Seuss line. Trees that flee make way for ferns in urns, (The Christmas tree came down and I filled the house with more live things like ferns.) It's been a lot of fun trying to see what new rhymes I can conjure each day!
7. Made my strawberry lemon yogurt cake this week for the first time in ages. Still one of the best things I've ever put in my mouth.
