I have a hangover. Okay, no I don't, I just feel like I do. Not that I'm exactly familiar with that sensation. At all. The closest to drunk I've ever been is a raucous bout of giggles after about a gallon of extra-sugary Kool-Aid at sleep away camp when I was 11. It was epic.
Nope, today I'm just majorly sleepy after a not so restful night. (More staring at the ceiling while listening to the call from the minarets than sleeping. le sigh.) So it has been that I've been searching for energy for a list of rather fun projects I have in mind. Like a festive spring inspired garland made of paper from around the house and bits of string. Or delightfully happy recipe cards. Or painting a storage box to turn it into a bench. Instead my triumph du jour has been to start a facebook page. (Technology and I really have issues with one another. This stuff should be easy! I blame the headache...)
Anyway, in honor of the occasion, I'm doing my first giveaway! To the lucky winner, I will be sending a packet of five different cards from the collection. To enter, "like" the new page then leave a comment telling me what you love most about spring here on the blog. (If you already like the page, just leave a comment to enter.) You have until midnight EST on March 20th to enter.
Also, don't forget that there's barely more than a week left to order Easter cards to ensure on time delivery. Good luck!!
Oh, i hope i win!!!!!! My favorite thing about spring is having the windows open and hearing the birds in the morning! Such a peaceful sound!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe best part of spring is opening the windows and feeling the warm breeze throughout the house
ReplyDeleteUm, I would LOVE to win. :) My favorite thing about Spring is energy. Seeing growth in nature all around reminds me that I can grow too, and it gives me energy to put in the hard work it takes to improve my life.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely adore this idea! I'm kind of feeling that way about spring this year.
DeleteGREEN is my favorite part of SPRING! Oh, and asparagus.
ReplyDeleteMY FAVORITE PART IS PLAYING OUTSIDE WITH MY KIDS . WE LIKE PLAYING FRISBEE THE MOST IN OUR LITTLE YARD
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of Spring are the consignment sales! I get to buy my daughter a whole new wardrobe for a fraction of the cost to buy it new! (P.S. Sorry to hear you aren't sleeping well. I know that can be frustrating.)
ReplyDeleteMe TOO! I recently learned of a car boot that will be happening here at the end of the month and I am SO excited to go I can hardly handle it!
DeleteI love the colors everywhere, as the flowers start to bloom. That's one of the big things I miss living in the desert. Things don't bloom until summer!!
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of not sleeping well (it's almost 2am here!)...
ReplyDeleteI love that it stays lighter later so I don't feel like such a crazy person staying up so late. :D And the warm sun. Oh man am I ready for some warm sunshine!!
Hang in there! He'll be here soon!!
DeleteI love the warmer weather, the rain storms, the rebirth, playing outside, in Utah I love seeing snow in the mountains while I am wearing short sleeves...ok, maybe I just love everything about spring. I am pretty easy to please for the most part. (Miss you!)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of spring is the day your mom calls me and says: "The lilacs are in bloom". That is my invitation to visit your yard with my pruning shears. I LOVE YOUR LILACS!
ReplyDeleteI love outside play dates with the kids!
ReplyDeleteWhat do I love most about Spring? I feel excited every day I wake up because it is that perfect amount of warmth and sunshine and birds that have been hiding from me all winter that invite me to come celebrate with them. I literally get giddy each day (probably because it's not super hot yet...just inviting!) Seriously. Reading books outside in the sunshine. Birds and life EVERYWHERE. Baby lambs (that love I learned from England). Really just having my blinds open a crack so that the sunshine and birds wake me up and I say "I can't wait to get out and enjoy some of that sun on my face!" That's what I love about it.
