personal stationery {new in the shop}

One of my informal resolutions for this year was to revamp my product line for my etsy shop.  Last year I really started making progress creating images that were more true to who I am as a person and an artist.  This year, I want to pursue that even further.  With stationery.

Paper, I'm fairly certain, was my first love.  I would seek it out at bookstores, super markets, and even gas stations on pit stops.  Pens, paper, a good pencil.  These were the things that made my heart skip a beat.  And they still do.  Paper products, they're just the best.  So when I started pondering my metamorphosis, transitioning more into stationery made sense.  And just like that, my mind came alive.  Images that I've been struggling with as prints made perfect sense on flat card stationery.  For weeks, my imagination has been brimming over with more creative energy than I've had in ages.

The first by-products of this great surge of creation are now in the shop.  The vibrant Sealife Assorted Flat Card Set, Puppies on Parade,  the House Plant Assorted Set, and the Hyancinth Folded Note.  In them you'll find more life, whimsy, color, and function.  I wanted to create more flat cards for simple correspondence, as they have always been my favorite to use.  They allow a shorter note on a classic sized card.  The envelopes are even more exuberant in these collections, ranging from chartreuse to purple.  Even better?  All of the sets but one come assorted, giving you more options and versatility for your correspondence needs.

I'm so proud of this new collection.  I can see myself in it, my little home, and have already begun using the pieces myself!  Be sure to check them out in the shop for more images.

Also, through tomorrow, get 20% off your entire order with the code CABINFEVER.

  1. That is some VERY beautiful stationery! Funnily enough I had to send something to my Aunt a couple of weeks ago and popped a post-it in with a very scribbled note. She wrote back on the most beautiful writing paper and I felt so ashamed that I hadn't sent her something even half decent. There really is nothing quite like receiving a beautiful handwritten letter on lovely paper.
